A hard drive, a mountain drive, and one more day to replay

Hello! I know I told you that I would take down the replay today, but life happens, so I'm extending it.

I don't know about you, but my life has been FULL. (I try not to use the word "busy," because I've chosen 90% of my activities and commitments.) A few days ago I was talking with someone about how not all stress is bad, and that good stress is referred to as "eustress." But even good stress adds up. I went to a women's retreat over the weekend and helped to lead the singing. Then I had a day and a half to catch up on work and laundry before heading out again, this time to Fairmont Hot Springs with a friend who was given a week in a condo for free! How could I say no to working in such a lovely location? I packed my computer and way too many books and notebooks, and headed out.

This morning, I opened my computer and ...

Nothing and no one could resolve this problem. When I clicked through to the Storage Information, everything comes up empty. EMPTY. My SSD (hard drive) is apparently empty.

Fortunately, I brought a bluetooth keyboard that connects to my phone, and this phone can do a surprising number of things. Also, there are all those paper books to read and write in.

So, I could remove the replay today, as originally planned, but if your life is anything like mine, you might be glad that the replay is available until tomorrow afternoon.

Dear author, It's raining in Calgary, which is a good thing, because we're on water restrictions again. Perhaps you heard about our critical water main break in June? Well, they discovered problems all over that pipe system, so they gave the city a few weeks to get ready for draining the entire length of the pipe to execute a comprehensive water main repair. On the weekend, I bought a couple of rain barrels and filled them. We're trying to reduce our water use in the house. Paper plates...
